Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day is one of the two Comic Relief's big fundraising campaigns to tackle the root causes of poverty since 1988. It's a chance for everyone to have a laugh whilst raising money to help change countless lives across the UK and Africa.

The famous designer, Stella McCartney, has customised exclusive Red Nose Day tees to help raise money for the cause. There are only 25 pieces and each is unique and features an iconic image of the Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, Kate Moss or Tommy Cooper... and a giraffe for kids.

"When you buy a Red Nose Day T-shirt you are giving to a great and worthy charity", Stella McCartney says. "I wanted to go one step further and get really personal, so I customised a limited number of the T-shirts. They take you one step closer to an individual piece; while you're giving a bit more to Comic Relief, you're receiving a bit more, so it all makes perfect sense!"

Red Nose Day will take place on Friday 15th March. If you want to help raise money and get one of these unique tees, you can order online here. But there are so many other things you can get : wrist bands, deeley boppers, air fresheners, bubbles, dinostickers, books and of course it wouldn't be Red Nose Day without a red nose. I remember in high school we all got red noses but this year they made some amazing ones with toes : the Dinosesaurs! Check out the Red Nose Day Shop and get anything you want.

What others are doing :
- One Direction will record a cover of the amazing hit "One way or another" by Blondie.
- Russell Brand is organising a concert in the UK called "Give it Up for Comic Relief" featuring Jessie J, Noel Gallagher, Eddie Izzard, Jimmy Carr and many more stars.

Find out more on their website www.rednoseday.com and do something funny for money :)

Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer - Review

This is my first Bobbi Brown product and it's not really even mine. I told my mom how much I loved my Body Shop BB Cream (read my review here) so she was looking for one for herself. She went to SMETS in Brussels and got the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer. The woman working there told her she needed to use her daily moisturizer before using the Bobbi Brown which is quite disappointing because the goal was to avoid using moisturizer + another product. Anyway, my mom didn't want to keep the product so she gave it to me.

I've heard so much about Bobbi Brown products and have always wanted to try some of their stuff. I'm still very happy with my Body Shop BB Cream so I'm not trying to replace it, I just want to compare the two products.

Because I didn't buy it myself, I didn't choose the colour for the Bobbi Brown cream but my mom got the "Light Tint". I thought the colour would be lighter than my skin tone but it's not at all. It's actually much darker so I would probably use this more in the summer than in winter.  My Body Shop BB Cream is colour n°1 which is the lightest and it's just a little bit darker than my skin tone but I love it.
The first difference I noticed between the two products is the colour and the texture of the cream. The Body Shop BB cream is white with small pigment micro beads (hard to tell on the picture) whereas the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer looks like foundation.

Like I said in my previous review, The Body Shop BB Cream is quite dry therefore a little difficult to apply. I really like how light the Bobbi Brown feels and how easy and quick it is to apply. I also like the fact that it's SPF 15 and especially oil free! I do think I have a better coverage with The Body Shop BB Cream though.

I honestly like both products because they don't make my face all oily but I think I prefer The Body Shop BB Cream because it's cheaper and it gives a better coverage so why give the extra euros for an expensive product. I will keep using the Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer though but probably only during summer.

Bobbi Brown - Tinted Moisturizer : 36 €
The Body Shop - BB Cream : 13€

Tibi Pre Fall 2013

I am absolutely in love with Amy Smilovic's designs! The Tibi Pre Fall 2013 collection is probably the best yet. I mean what's not to like : varsity jackets, super slick tailored trousers, graphics, leather, boyish sweaters, amazing dresses and skirts... And everything looks so comfortable!

I can actually see myself wear every piece from this collection! Somebody give me a credit card, I will buy ALL-OF-IT !

Chanel Spring 2013 Couture

The Chanel Spring 2013 Couture show was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. The models wandered through the woods with a strong yet romantic look. The feathered hair piece to the side covered half of the girls' faces, letting one eye show with dramatic bird-like black lashes. The attention was mostly drawn to the shoulders, making "shoulders beautiful" as Karl Lagerfeld said in an interview with The New York Times.

Karl Lagerfeld closed the show with not one but two brides wearing identical and ravishing wedding gowns. Hand in hand, they walked through the woods, as though walking down the aisle, with a little boy who looked like the ring carrier. Lagerfeld showed his support for the controversial French gay marriage law and said he doesn't even "understand the debate".

Lagerfeld will never fail to surprise and amaze.

My Romwe Wishlist

I love so many pieces from Romwe. If I could I would order something every week. These are some of my favourites pieces at the moment. The fact that they're all black is just a coincidence :)

Urban Decay & Ciaté

I did some online shopping on Beautybay.com the other day.

I think Belgium is always behind, not only for beauty and fashion trends but for a lot of things in general. It's hard to find products from Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Sleek, Nars here so I order them online.

I've always wanted one of the Naked palettes from Urban Decay but couldn't actually decide which palette I wanted until they made the Naked Basics! This is the perfect palette for me : it has the colours that I use the most, it's small, all the colours are matte and of course it's less expensive than the others.

I bought this on Beautybay.com together with a nail varnish from Ciaté.
I was really happy with their services, I wrote to them because I had a question about the payment and they got back to me so fast. They deliver worldwide for free so I didn't hesitate to buy from them. I'm only disappointed with the nail varnish that I got. I was looking for the perfect Coral colour and thought I had found it but it's actually a bright/neon orange. I'm still glad I got it though because I love all colours for my nails. A friend told me she got some nail varnishes from Ciaté online too and that the colour was never the same than on the picture so I don't blame Beautybay :)

Anyway, I'm really happy with the products that I got and will probably order more from Beautybay. There are so many brands that I want to try : BareMinerals, Sleek, Nars, Too Faced, Make Up Forever, Bobbi Brown, etc.
